Notification
Prize winners will be notified and then posted on our website by October 31, 2010. Winners will be notified via email or snail mail, depending on how the entry was submitted. The Winner and Runner Up, their names and a brief biological history (if provided) will be published on The Tales pages on the TreasureBoxTales website upon the completion of the contest.
Judging
The judges for our contest will include editors, writers and readers of varying experience and education. All of the tales will be judged on originality, creativity and aesthetic quality. A genuine TreasureBoxTale will ring true with poignancy and universal human experience.
Participants
The TreasureBoxTales.com contest is open to all ages. We do not accept tales or treasures with violent or erotic content. Our readers are of all ages, therefore, we do not accept submissions that our editors/judges consider distasteful or highly explicit. Entries deemed inappropriate will be discarded and the fee forfeited.
All submitted tales must be original writing by the contest entrant.
Entries from non-U.S. authors are welcome, providing the tale is written in English, submitted via email and the entry fee paid only through PayPal in U.S. Dollars. International entries submitted via snail mail with coupons, stamps, international currency, etc. will be discarded.
Privacy Policy
TreasureBoxTales.com does not release or sell customer or contest entrant information to third parties or mailing lists, nor will you receive any telephone solicitations. We contact you by email or snail mail about any future opportunities for publication or contests.
Rights
TreasureBoxTales does reserve the right to feature winning entries on the website and in publications promoting the website for the lifetime of TreasureBoxTales. In the event that the winning author(s) choose to later republish a winning entry in an another publication, TreasureBoxTales requests written credit be given. Authors retain all other rights.
By submitting a tale to this contest, the author may be eligible for future publication of his/her work in the developing book series of the TreasureBoxTales.
Submitting a tale to our contest implies agreement to stated terms and conditions.
